Star Ascend is a specialist recruiter of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) staff for Nurseries, Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, SEN Special Schools, Specialist Independent schools, SEN provisions within mainstream schools(with pupils with EHCPs),Mainstream schools with pupils who need extra support, Residential Specialist Schools, Residential Specialist Colleges, Residential Children's Home, Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), Alternative Provisions(AP), Further Education (FE),Supported Living, Semi Independent Living and all other related settings across London and the Home Counties. We provide SEND staff who can support on either a full or part time basis. In addition to temporary and permanent staffing, Star Ascend offers Mentoring and Tuition services.

Many qualified to Masters Level in the field of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Mental Health and Clinical Psychology. We know our chosen sectors and disciplines inside-out and understand what it takes to work in, and thrive in any given role. We adhere to guidance outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education(KCSIE) 2021,Safer Recruitment ,DfE requirement checks and CQC guidelines. We ensure that all candidates have up-to-date Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) checks and be on the Update Service, vetted through robust safer recruitment processes before embarking on the relationship with a young person or any placement. All candidates are required to read and adhere to the Keeping Children Safe in Education.
